(Madison, Ind.) – On July 21, the Madison Police Department executed a search warrant at 107 ½ E. Second Street in Madison.
Probable cause for the search was granted as the result of an investigation led by Detectives Ricky Harris and Kyle Cutshaw.
A narcotics search warrant was issued along with a warrant to search for Jeramie M.F. Elston, 31, of Hanover. Elston had an outstanding warrant for bond revocation on two counts of battery resulting in serious bodily injury.
As a result of the residential search warrant, officers located Elston along with methamphetamine, marijuana, and paraphernalia.
In addition to the charges stated on the warrant, Elston faces additional preliminary charges of possession of methamphetamine and possession of paraphernalia.
Elsotn has the presumption of innocence until otherwise proven guilty.
