Near Waddy
The U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) reported an earthquake in a small, central Kentucky town near the state’s capitol Monday morning.
The 2.5 magnitude quake shook Waddy, Kentucky at 9:23 a.m.
Waddy is about 10 miles southeast of Shelbyville and about 55 miles southeast of Madison, IN
The government website says 2.4 magnitude earthquakes are small and weak and usually do not leave behind damage.
