EARLY VOTING BEGINS TODAY APRIL 5TH IN JEFFERSON COUNTY

The county will be offering satellite locations in Madison and Hanover on certain dates thru April

                                          

Early in-person voting begins Today April 5th at the Jefferson County Courthouse. For clarification, everyone can take advantage of early in-person voting. There does not have to be a reason to cast an early vote. Courthouse voting will Monday through Friday from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm. Saturday voting will be on April 23rd and April 30th from 8:00am to 3:00 pm

The satellite in-person voting begins on April 12th. The Hanover and Madison satellite locations can be used by any voter. You do not have to live in that area.

Anyone wanting to have an Absentee Ballot sent to their home can do so by contacting the Voter Registration Office or by going online to indianavoters.com The deadline for a voter to submit an ABS Application is April 21,2022 The application can be mailed (300 E Main St Madison) faxed ( 812-273-5428) or emailed to carsha.strouse@jeffersoncounty.in.gov . Special Note: An Indiana registered voter is not registered to vote as a Republican or Democrat. All registered voters have the option to pull a Democrat or Republican ballot in the Primary Election no matter what was voted in previous election
