Domestic Violence investigation leads to arrest

More charges could be forthcoming

                                           

On May 2nd, 2024 Senior Patrol Officer Cody Lewis of MPD began an investigation into a domestic violence complaint. The investigation into the complaint led to a search warrant for a downtown Madison residence. On May 3, 2024 MPD served the search warrant.

During the service of the warrant, Quinten Loza, age 38 of Madison was taken into custody on the preliminary charges of Domestic Battery as a level 6 felony, and strangulation as a level 6 felony.

During the service of the warrant MPD Officers located suspected cocaine, psilocybin mushroom products, and approximately 8 pounds of raw marijuana and marijuana edibles, along with multiple firearms. Loza is facing additional criminal charges in relation to dealing in controlled substances.

Criminal charges are accusations, and Quinten Loza is presumed innocent unless otherwise proven guilty in a court of law.
