Courtney Sworn In As Madison Mayor To Fill Out Term

To fill late Mayor Welch's term

After being selected by the Republican caucus on Saturday to serve the remaining term of the late Mayor Damon Welch, Bob Courtney was sworn in as Mayor of the City of Madison yesterday morning at City Hall.

Dan Dattilo, Council President, served as interm mayor after Mayor Welch's passing on September 25th

Courtney is running against democratic mayoral candidate Julie Berry in the November 5th election.
