City Parks Department Announces Fall Flag Football League

All payments must be submitted in person at the Parks Office.

(Madison, Ind.) – The City of Madison Parks Department is offering co-ed youth flag football for students in kindergarten through 8th grade. The football season will tentatively begin after Labor Day and will run for six weeks.

“Following conversations with the Hoosier Hills Youth Football League and given the current health concerns surrounding the COVID-19 pandemic, we felt it was in the best interests to not participate in tackle football this year. We believe that flag football will allow participants to learn the fundamentals of football while still taking preventative measures to slow the spread of COVID-19,” said Interim Park Director Matt Woolard.

If your child would like to participate you can register until September 4. The cost to register is $25.00 per participant, registration forms can be found online or can be picked up at the Park Office inside City Hall.

All payments must be submitted in person at the Parks Office.

For any questions, please contact the parks department at (812) 265-8308.
