City Of Scottsburg Leaf Pick Up To Begin Nov. 12

If you would like your leaves picked up, they must be raked to the edge of the curb. I

(Scottsburg, Ind.) - As the leaves are beginning to fall, many residents are wondering when collection days will begin.

Well, wonder no longer because the City of Scottsburg has announced that beginning on Thursday, November 12, two trucks will begin on the east side of town, north of Highway 56 working their way north,

From the hospital, back down the west side of Highway 31 and work their way back down to Highway 56. Then from there, crews will begin working on the south side of Highway 56 and the west side of Highway 31 to the fairgrounds.

Crews will be running through the city two times.

If you would like your leaves picked up, they must be raked to the edge of the curb. If they are not at the curb, the leaf truck can not pick them up.

It is asked that you do not put brush, limbs, or trash in the leaves as these objects cause the equipment to break down.

Any leaves that are in trash bags will not be picked up.
