City of Madison Water Dept. Repairing Service Line

The repairs will begin at 8:00 a.m. today.

(Madison, Ind.) - The City of Madison Water Department will be repairing the water service line in the 900 block of West Second Street beginning at approximately 8:00 a.m. today, February 11.

Work will continue until all repairs are completed. Water pressure may be affected while the repairs are being completed. After the work is completed, a boil water advisory may be necessary.

Those who experience low to no water pressure are advised to boil water intended for consumption over the next 24 hours for 3 to 5 minutes prior to consuming. For dishwashing in private residences, a few drops of bleach per gallon of water will also provide adequate disinfection.
