(Madison, Ind.) - The Madison Area Chamber of Commerce is announcing the new “Chamber CA$H.”

These are digital gift cards that are used for local spending at local merchants.

Chamber CA$H is a more modern, portable, and accountable system than the Good Cents gift certificate check program.

“For years, the Good Cents Gift Certificate program has been extremely successful, but outdated technology and other logistical issues make it difficult to continue it long-term. We’re trying out the Madison Chamber CA$H program. Now, you can purchase digital gift cards, which can be used in print, through your email, or even through text message,” says Lindsay Bloos, Madison Area Chamber of Commerce Executive Director.

Local companies are planning to use this for company-funded programs such as employee rewards, marketing, and customer appreciation.

This will allow more money to circulate in the community and give companies the opportunity to reinvest in the community.

These gift cards can be used at a growing list of participating merchants in the Madison area, such as Wonderfully Made Collections, Fine Threads, Off Broadway Taproom, Shoe Sensation, Christy’s Candles, and many more.

“We are thrilled to participate in this innovative program. It was simple to run our ‘activation card,’ and we’re ready to welcome new customers into our store. Thanks, Chamber!” said Victoria Perry, Wonderfully Made Collections.

For more information on the card or how to participate as a merchant in the program please contact the Madison Area Chamber of Commerce at 812-265-3135.
