Carroll County Sheriff's Office Welcomes New Sheriff's Deputy

He brings over two decades of experience to the department

Carroll County, KY – The Carroll County Sheriff's Office is excited to announce that Kevin Crutcher, a seasoned law enforcement professional and native of Carroll County with over two decades of experience, has joined our team. Crutcher’s extensive background in various facets of law enforcement marks a significant addition to our department.

Kevin Crutcher’s law enforcement career is distinguished by his extensive experience in narcotics enforcement and detective work. His service on the Narcotics Task Force, the Central Kentucky Fugitive Task Force with the U.S. Marshal's Office, and the Madison County Street Crimes Unit have been instrumental in combating drug-related issues and solving complex cases. After a commendable career, Crutcher retired but has now chosen to come out of retirement to continue serving the community.

"Kevin brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to our department," said Sheriff Ryan Gosser. "His background in various specialized units and his commitment to community-based policing will be invaluable as we continue our efforts to serve and protect with excellence."

In addition to his law enforcement career, Crutcher is an established business owner in Madison County, where he runs two successful businesses. His experience in managing these enterprises has equipped him with valuable leadership and management skills, which will enhance his role in the Sheriff's Office. Throughout his career, he has been committed to making a tangible difference in the communities he serves, focusing on innovative strategies to address complex challenges. His expertise and proactive approach have earned him a reputation as a leader in law enforcement circles.
