(Carroll County, Ky.) – With the school year right around the corner, Carroll County School District has made the decision to change how the first nine weeks of school will look.

The school district announced last week that the first nine weeks of school will be held through their ‘Distance Learning Model,’ this new model will be used for the families who are planning on attending in-person instruction.

At the end of the nine weeks, the plan is to begin in-person learning with the same precautions being taken with the health and safety guidelines in mind.

At any time during the school year, those who are attending for in-person learning might have to move to distance learning if it is determined that in-person instruction is not safe.

Families who have chosen virtual learning, the class schedule will remain the same.
