Carroll County Man Dead Following Road Rage Incident

The driver of the other vehicle has not be identified

                                            

(Carroll County, Ky.) - One person was killed in a road rage shooting on Saturday evening in Carroll County. 

The preliminary investigation shows two vehicles exited off of Interstate 71 at Exit 43 in Carroll County. One of the drivers involved in the incident was speaking with dispatch at that time. The caller advised that the other driver was displaying a firearm.  

After they exited the interstate both vehicles were initially traveling on KY 389 before the incident escalated to the point of gunfire. 

The operator of one of the vehicles involved, later identified as Daniel Shouse of Carrollton, was shot by the operator of the other vehicle. He was pronounced dead at the scene..

The investigation is ongoing.
