By Carroll County School District, news release

Meals for middle school students will be available for pickup from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. outside the middle school cafeteria.

(Carrollton, Ky.) - November 3, 2020 - Carroll County Middle School students will learn from home for the next three days under a Non-Traditional Instruction model. This change only affects the middle school. Other schools in the Carroll County School District will be on a normal schedule, with students attending instruction in person. Multiple staff members at the middle school have tested positive for COVID-19, and numerous other staff members at the middle school are in the process of getting tested.

“While this is unfortunate, we knew that a change like this was possible with our return to in-person instruction,” said Superintendent Danny Osborne. “To date, our other schools are not dealing with COVID-19 to this degree. However, we will continue to closely monitor the situation at all of our schools and will be in close communication with our health department and other authorities.”

The district’s real-time COVID-19 numbers are being updated daily and can be accessed through the district website (carroll.kyschools.us) and reopening website (reopen.ccpanthers.com).

“We will be in close communication with our families and our community as this situation unfolds in the coming days,” Osborne said. “As always, we appreciate everyone’s patience and support as we work to keep our schools safe and open.”

Meals for middle school students will be available for pickup from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. outside the middle school cafeteria.
