The bridge at the end of Milton Street just before US 421 Jefferson Street is currently CLOSED to thru traffic has the bridge received damage during the flooding that took place early Saturday morning. There is no estimated time on when the bridge will be reopened. Motorist are asked at this time to avoid this area until further notice.
