Boys & Girls Club of Jefferson County board, staff, and members to give back to Indiana during massive statewide celebration in recognition of Children's Mental Health Awareness Month.
Please join us as we will take to the outdoors to plant 4 trees at the Club on Thursday, May 9. As part of a larger initiative taking place across the state of Indiana, Boys & Girls Club of Jefferson County will join Boys & Girls Clubs throughout the state as the organization rallies together more than 160 Club locations.
With involvement from approximately 100,000 youth served across Indiana, this momentous statewide day of service will take place during Children's Mental Health Awareness Month. Rooted in a statewide tree planning initiative, diverse groups made up of Club youth, age 5-18 years old, and leadership will unite for one common goal -to give back to the great state of Indiana and show appreciation by collectively planting more than 120 trees, and hosting celebrations statewide to highlight the importance of mental health for Indiana's youth.
The local planting will boast celebratory aspects like food trucks, outdoor games, networking, and showcase Club Kids artwork. Join us as Boys & Girls Club of Jefferson County unites for this historic occasion, as Boys & Girls Clubs in the State of Indiana celebrates its first-ever statewide initiative.
