Boil Water Advisory Issued For Portions Of City Of Milton

A precautionary Boil Water Advisory has been issued for the City of Milton Water and Sewer Department customers whom live between Mount Carmel Rd and 28 Rhea Dr on Highway 421 N. This includes the areas of Mosser Rd, Megan Ln, South Spillman, Richmond Rd, Leatherbury Ln, Purvis Ln, Mitchell Rd, Cedar Ridge Rd, Fairview Ridge Rd, Garriott Rd, Robin Ln, Reynolds Way, Laura Ln, Ogden Mosley Rd, Rhea Dr and any residents between this area due to a Main Water Line Break.

Although NO CONTAMINATION HAS BEEN CONFIRMED we recommend that when your water service resumes that you: Bring all water to a rolling boil for three (3) minutes, and let it cool before using or use bottled water. Boiled or bottled water should be used for drinking, making ice, brushing teeth, washing dishes, and food preparation until further notice 

Boiling kills bacteria and other organisms in the water.

We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause, This advisory is being issued as a precautionary action and will be lifted with the approval of the Kentucky Division Of Water.

When all appropriate lab test is completed and the Kentucky Division Of Water allows us to lift the advisory.
