Those who would like to request an absentee ballot can contact the clerks' office.

(Carrollton, Ky.) - As the primary elections in Kentucky are quickly approaching, many voters are choosing to vote absentee in the election due to the coronavirus pandemic.
Those absentee voters in Carrollton now have another option for submitting their ballots. The Carroll County Courthouse has placed ballot boxes at each end of the first floor of the courthouse for voters to have the option to drop off their votes.
This option can be used as an alternative to taking your ballots to the post office.
According to County Clerk Alice Marsh, the ballot boxes will be emptied each night, and ballots will be stored in a safe place until they are counted.
Those who would like to request an absentee ballot can contact the clerks' office at (502) 732-7005. The deadline to request an absentee ballot is June 15.
