Four districts locally in Top 100

The website Backgroundchecks.org released its list of the top 100 school districts in Kentucky.

There are more than 170 districts in Kentucky.

The site used a methodology that factored in student achievement (math and reading scores), dropout rates, school funding, and area poverty rates.

Four local districts that made the top 100 are:

#3 Oldham Co.

#50 Owen Co.

#83 Trimble Co.

#87 Gallatin Co.
