Another Festival falls victim to COVID 19

The Rising Sun Navy Bean Festival cancelled

It was decided at a Rising Sun Common Council meeting last night to cancel this year's event.

Here is a note from the Main Street Director...

At the Rising Sun Common Council meeting on the 6th day of August, 2020, the Council made the difficult decision to cancel the 2020 Navy Bean Festival due to the COVID-19 epidemic.  This cancellation is a result of the COVID-19 epidemic which has resulted in the cancellation of the Navy Bean Festival in the interest of safety for the citizens of Rising Sun, Indiana and the surrounding communities.

Sincerely,

Karrah Miller, Director
