800 N in Jennings County Set To Close For Bridge Repair

Road will be closed till at least November

JENNINGS COUNTY, Ind. — In partnership with Jennings County, the Indiana Department of Transportation announces the closure of County Road 800 North over Sand Creek on Wednesday, May 29, for a bridge deck replacement project in Jennings County.

The closure is located just east of State Road 3 and is expected to remain closed until late November, weather permitting. During the closure, motorists should use the official detour route which follows Base Road to S.R. 550 North to C.R. 150 East to C.R. 200 East.

This project is part of a contract awarded to Force Construction Company in April 2024. INDOT reminds drivers to slow down, use extra caution and avoid distractions when traveling near work zones. All work is weather-dependent and schedules are subject to change.
