Tweet Rage Slam
Big & Rich's John Rich is slamming Nike for choosing Colin Kaepernick as the face of their "Just Do It" 30th anniversary campaign.
The GRAMMY-award winning singer called out Nike in a series of tweets yesterday and even predicted the brand's stock to fall.
Kaepernick -- a former San Francisco 49ers player -- originally led player protests during the National Anthem in the NFL.
Since the announcement, thousands have taken to social media to say they will never wear Nike again.
Hey @Nike I guess you made @Kaepernick7 your new “face” of the brand because you love the way his socks look with your shoes? @Reebok here we come. #WeStand @TomiLahren @greggutfeld @kilmeade @RedneckRiviera pic.twitter.com/tgtbl8VFzv

Hey @nike if you're gonna make the shoes, make the PIG SOCKS to match. Right? Cmon, people will LOVE that.

Our Soundman just cut the Nike swoosh off his socks. Former marine. Get ready @Nike multiply that by the millions. pic.twitter.com/h8kj6RXe7j

I support every American's right to protest whatever they want. However, if you endorse someone who wears #PIGSOCKS that's where you lose me. If @nike wants their "swoosh" to be associated with calling our police "Pigs" then so be it. I have a right to not buy their products.
