Blue Christmas evening service

Blue Christmas Eve service: For many, Christmas is not ‘The Most Wonderful Time of the Year’. At North Madison United Methodist Church, we are offering a Blue Christmas evening service, Sunday December 15th @ 6 pm. Anyone from our community who has experienced a loss which still causes grief and pain, we invite you to attend. Whether you feel the hurt of losing a loved one, battle addictions in yourself or another, live with the challenges of illness, estrangement, or the vast needs in our nation and world weigh heavy on your heart. Our church is offering this service to gather together and remember that in the midst of our suffering, God is good. God is strong. God is near. And we have every reason to hold onto the hope and the light that was offered to us from the birth of Christ all those years ago.
