Trimble Co. Emergency Crews Have Busy Friday

At 12:12 a.m. early this morning, Milton Fire & Rescue responded to the report of a single vehicle accident in the 9900 block of Hwy 421 N (Lions Club Curve). A Grey 2002 Mercedes operated by Charles Campebell of Campbellsburg was going South on Hwy 421 when he lost control of his car in the curve striking the guardrail. He was treated and released at the scene. Milton FIre, Bedford Fire, Trimble County EMS and the Trimble County Sheriff’s Department was all on scene.

 

At around 7:00 p.m. Friday, Milton Fire units responded to several reports of storm damage. Crews removed trees from Milton hill and Coopers Bottom Rd. Crews also assisted blocking the roadway on Coopers Bottom Rd and Fishers Ridge Rd where both roads were blocked by downed power lines. Thank you to Shelby Energy for their quick response as well as the State and County Highway departments for their assistance.

 At 1:34 p.m. Friday, Milton Fire & Rescue responded to the report of a single vehicle roll over accident with extrication. Crews arrived on scene and found a box van on its side near the river bank. The driver, Lemark Mclemore, of Louisville was already out of the vehicle. Mclemore was travelling East towards Carrollton when he lost control of his vehicle going off the roadway and overturning several times. Mclemore was not transported and was released at the scene. Milton Fire, Bedford Fire, Trimble County EMS, Trimble County Sheriff’s Department and the Kentucky State Police were all on scene.
