Stolen Vehicle Leads To Meth Find And Six Arrests

Several people are facing drug charges after a stolen vehicle was recovered in Versailles.

The Ripley County Sheriff’s Office said the arrests were the result of a joint effort with the Versailles Police Department on Friday, May 12.

While on foot patrol in the area of Countrywood Apartments in Versailles, officers noticed a suspicious vehicle. They determined that the vehicle had been reported stolen from the Connersville area.

Officers obtained a search warrant for the apartment where the occupants of the vehicle were located. There they allegedly discovered methamphetamine and other drug paraphernalia.

Arrested at the scene were John M. Hunter, 36, of Westport; Zoe Wenning, 19, of Greensburg; Nikia Sexton, 25, ofVersailles; Dakota Sexton, 19, of Versailles; Christopher White, 38, of Greensburg; and Billy Runyan. 37, of Greensburg.
