Southwestern School Campus Put On Preventive Lock Down This Morning

-UPDATE- As per Superintendent of Schools, Trevor Jones, The Southwestern Campus was put on lock down after a threat via social media. The school system went into preventive mode till the police located the student and detained them. Campus was back open after 8 this morning.

Southwestern High School and Middle School was put on lock down this morning due to a possible threat.

Officers arrived on the scene around 7:40 to take preventive measures. All students were told to go to their first period class as the school was put on lock down.

Preliminary information from Hanover Town Marshall Josh Taylor, the incident was handled and no threats to the schools, students or staff.

Taylor said more information will be released as they are in the middle of the investigation.
