Cleanup efforts are underway in many parts of central Indiana after storms caused significant damage.

The National Weather Service has confirmed six tornadoes touched down in the state:  an EF-1 in Muncie, an EF-1 in Lawrence County’s Springville, an EF-2 in Delaware and Jay counties, and three tornadoes ranging from EF-0 to EF-1 in Salem.

Up to 100 homes had to be evacuated in Springville due to a large gas leak.

Other notable damage includes the Muncie Fieldhouse, which has water on the basketball court and gym floor after a 200-square-foot hole was opened in the roof.
