Kentucky-Indiana Girls Split. Louisville Advances. Big Day For Cards McKay

The Indiana-Kentucky girls All-stars split their series over the weekend with Kentucky 75-67 winning in Indianapolis and Indiana 58-51 in Frankfort. Trimble County’s Kaylee Clifford 10 points, 4 rebounds in game one with 9 points and 5 rebounds in game two; Columbus North’s Maliah Howard-Bass 6 points, 2 rebounds in game one and 4 points and 3 rebounds in game two.


University of Louisville swept Kentucky 2-0 in the NCAA Super Regional Baseball Tournament to gain their fourth trip to the College World Series in Omaha. Cards will take on Texas A & M in their first game of the double elimination tournament.


It will be a big day for Cardinal Brendan McKay as the pitcher/first baseman could be one of the top 4 picks in tonight’s Major League Baseball Draft. Minnesota has the #1 pick followed by the Reds, Padres and Rays.
