Hanover Football Even There Record With Third Straight Win. Weekend Hanover Sports Results

Behind four consecutive touchdown drives in the second quarter and over 200 total yards from freshman running back Shawn Coane , the Hanover football team matched its longest winning streak under head coach Matt Theobald in a 37-29 victory at Defiance Saturday afternoon. Panthers now 4-4 on the season and 4-2 in the HCAC face Manchester at home this Saturday.


Volleyball will host the HCAC semi-finals and finals this Saturday and Sunday as the number one seed after defeating Anderson 3-0 to finish their third undefeated conference season in a row.


With three of the top five individual finishers, the Hanover men’s cross-country team finished second at the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference Championships Saturday morning behind Rose Hulman. The women finished sixth overall in the league meet. Both teams run in the NCAA Division III Midwest Regional on November 11th.


Both the Men and Women’s Soccer teams ended their regular season with a 0-0 tie at Rose Hulman. The men will host Rose-Hulman in the HCAC Tournament semifinals Wednesday afternoon at 2. The women will travel to face Mt. St. Joseph Wednesday night.


Switzerland County’s Leah Anders finished 148 in a field of 208 in the IHSAA Girls State Cross Country Meet.
